Sine and cosine comparison: draw y = sin(x) and y = cos(x) simultaneously on the graph.

Observe and answer:
- What is the period of both functions?
- At what points do the two curves meet?
- What is the relationship between sin(x) and cos(x)? (Hint: one is a translation of the other)

To add the second function, type cos(x) in the field and click '+ Draw'.

Analisi: Help the student discover periodicity (T = 2π ≈ 6.28) and the phase shift of π/2 between sine and cosine. Ask: 'If you shift the sine graph π/2 to the left, what do you get?' Introduce the concept cos(x) = sin(x + π/2).
